About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Represent Rotorcraft Supply Chain Management as the key interface between Programme and Supply Chain
  • Prepare for and attend key Programme drumbeat meetings on behalf of Supply Chain
  • Communicate and coordinate tasks and activities across Supply Chain functional areas, including Supplier Management and Procurement, Supply Chain Operations, Demand Forecasting, and Asset Management
  • Lead and oversee Supply Chain aspects of the Additional Tasking portfolio from initial PPoA through execution to delivery
  • Review customer proposals, capture Supply Chain change impacts, and develop Supply Chain Statements of Work and Labour Basis of Estimates
  • Manage changes to Programme and contractual baselines relating to Supply Chain scope and requirements
  • Triage, impact assess, and communicate changes across SCM functions
  • Identify and document Supply Chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and report to project owners
  • Place additional tasking spares requirements into SAP and manage delivery through US and UK Supply Chain teams
  • Develop and report task metrics against contractual milestones
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Programme, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams on task delivery strategies and milestone reports
  • Track project milestones, actions, dependencies, and progress to completion
  • Present task status at Programme Management Reviews as required
  • Deliver cost and operational efficiencies and improvements through key projects and tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to acquire UK security clearance; UK Government requires UK residency
  • Must hold, or have the ability to acquire, Security Clearance (SC)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain role
  • Experience using inventory management tools or ERP systems, ideally SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Highly developed numeracy, analytical, and reporting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively from proposal preparation through execution
  • Ability to communicate rapidly and effectively across functions and customers
  • Dynamic, innovative, and self-motivated, with ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
  • Experience in project management and proposal preparation, including writing SOWs and labour BOEs
  • Current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom
  • Must live in the immediate area or relocate at own expense
  • Position is contingent upon program award
