About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary courseware team responsible for training product design, development, validation, and delivery
- Lead a team of pilots and maintainers of 4th- and 5th-generation fighter aircraft
- Oversee project performance, including cost, quality, schedule reporting, and Earned Value/program control practices
- Translate contractual Statements of Work and requirements into plans, schedules, ROMs, RFP responses, and final pricing
- Maintain integrated internal and external schedules for courseware deliverables
- Track and mitigate Risks, Issues, and Opportunities
- Ensure compliance with Boeing policies, standards, and contractual obligations
- Manage supplier relationships and oversee third-party contributions
- Drive continuous process and tool improvement; apply lessons learned and best practices
- Provide workforce leadership including onboarding, performance management, coaching, career development, and training/certification planning
- Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings and status updates
- Support IRAD initiatives and develop content for new business proposals
- Coordinate with core functional disciplines on technical strategies and execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required; U.S. Citizenship required
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role OR completion of Boeing's internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- Experience working with external suppliers, internal cross-functional teams, and/or Common Core Functional Teams
- Experience with schedule and budget management, stakeholder communication, and program planning
- Experience preparing and presenting to executives, senior leadership, and external customers
- Experience managing high visibility project plans
- Experience leveraging data analytics methods to solve complex problems
- Experience partnering with a United States Government and/or Department of Defense customer
- 5+ years of engineering/technical experience on aircraft, mission systems, or training solutions
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
- Must complete the Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment
