About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and plan software development tasks, including detailed software design, coding, and unit, integration, functional, and system testing
Develop and sustain new and existing applications
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
Analyze high-level customer requirements and derive lower-level functional requirements
Present and brief software designs to customers, stakeholders, and end users
Demonstrate software release functionality
Contribute to new distributed components and interactions aligned with future system architecture
Support a multi-tiered system developed on cloud infrastructure with consumer-facing web applications
Support the FishTools Collection Planning and Mission Management system used by the Intelligence community

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
1+ years’ experience analyzing data and/or identifying functional and systems requirements with customers
1+ years’ experience in systems engineering including system architecture development, systems integration, and/or hardware/software design and analysis
1+ years’ experience developing presentations and briefing customers
Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standup, User Stories, Sprints, and Release Planning
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required
Final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence Polygraph Post-Start required
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person
Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process
Must complete a technical assessment as part of the selection process
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
Preferred: Agile software development lifecycle knowledge
Preferred: Effective use of Atlassian Products such as Jira, Confluence, and Crucible
Preferred Level 3 qualifications include 5+ years’ related work experience or equivalent education and experience
