About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead strategic IT sourcing initiatives from understanding business needs through supplier selection, contracting and implementation
- Manage and negotiate IT contracts and commercial terms for software, licensing, hardware, IT services, consulting and telecom
- Translate technical and business needs into commercial requirements and sourcing decisions
- Build relationships with IT, procurement, business stakeholders and external suppliers
- Analyze spend and supplier markets to identify sourcing opportunities
- Contribute to IT category strategies and development of Boliden's IT procurement practices
- Balance commercial value, sustainability, compliance and risk in responsible sourcing
- Work closely with Group Procurement, IT, procurement colleagues and different parts of Boliden's business
- Manage business travel according to business and project needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- An academic degree or relevant professional experience that provides an equivalent foundation
- Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
- Understanding of IT contracts, commercial agreements and licensing models
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into commercial requirements and decisions
- Professional proficiency in English
- Category B driving licence
- IT procurement or sourcing experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of data protection, GDPR or cybersecurity is advantageous
- Experience from an IT organization, supplier or international company is advantageous
- Swedish or Finnish is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow
