About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead video review operations at Bolt6, ensuring technology is deployed and run flawlessly at live events worldwide
  • Take overall responsibility for video review quality across football, volleyball, tennis and future sports
  • Define standards for review accuracy, speed, consistency and communication
  • Train, coach and develop video review operators
  • Run review and improvement sessions using examples from live events
  • Set and maintain professional communication standards with officials
  • Develop operator assessment and independent sign-off processes
  • Monitor operator performance across accuracy, speed, communication and process adherence
  • Establish post-event performance review processes
  • Lead investigations into substandard reviews, identify root causes and implement improvements
  • Identify opportunities to make reviews faster, simpler and more reliable
  • Build a feedback culture and ensure consistent performance across operators
  • Develop cross-sport video review principles and sport-specific training processes
  • Maintain review procedures, training materials, examples and best-practice guidance
  • Develop scenario training for difficult, unusual and high-pressure situations
  • Provide live support and act as senior escalation point during major events
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology teams on review tools, interfaces and workflows
  • Scale review operations as competitions, operators, sports and territories grow
  • Work closely with internal teams, clients and partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Expertise working with video review, officiating technology or similar systems within elite sport
  • A strong understanding of what makes a high-quality video review, including accuracy, speed and communication
  • Experience training, coaching or developing operators in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to set clear standards for others
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify small improvements that can make a significant difference to live delivery
  • Comfortable reviewing performance objectively and giving clear, constructive feedback
  • Calm decision-making and leadership in high-pressure live environments
  • A self-starter who can take ownership of an area and continually improve it
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain standards across a large, distributed team
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends around live sporting events
