About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver pre-designed math lessons and practice extension materials to K–6 students

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Classroom teacher, EL/ESL/ELL, tutoring, coaching, or similar student support experience
  • Online instruction experience with a college degree preferred
  • Ability to build meaningful professional connections with students
  • Ability to create an encouraging and motivating learning environment with supportive student corrections
  • Computer (laptop or desktop) and webcam
  • Clean, distraction-free environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection of at least 20 Mbps
  • Reside in and tutor from one of the listed eligible states or Washington, DC
  • All sessions must be conducted from within the 50 United States or Washington, DC
  • Availability often including at least one hour Monday through Thursday between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM ET
  • Attend at least 80% of claimed sessions
