About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop the game server-side application logic
Evolve software applications using modern development infrastructure and methods, including Ruby 3
Develop software analytics and observability solutions
Maintain automated tests
Conduct unit tests and code reviews
Refactor source code
Assess and improve software performance
Write and document code meeting project standards and desired functionality
Introduce technologies and information to improve documentation practices, scalability, testing techniques, and refactoring

Requirements

What you’ll need

Seasoned in software development
Experience within the iGaming industry
Strong working experience with Ruby
Familiarity with C/C++, Rust or GO Lang is a plus
Basic knowledge of Linux based operating systems
Basic knowledge of command line and Git Version System
Basic knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
Willingness to learn and work with new technologies, including gRPC, graphQL, and GO Lang
Excellent written communication and documentation abilities in English
Open and persuasive communication style, with ability to illustrate difficult issues and complex relationships
Must be located in the European time zone (+/- 2 hours)
