About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build, update, and optimize websites for clients across a variety of industries.
Implement website content and technical updates while maintaining design, functionality, and SEO best practices.
Edit H1 tags, Title Tags, Meta Descriptions, and Alt Image Tags.
Add, edit, or replace website content while maintaining existing CSS styling, design, and page layout.
Optimize images for website performance, quality, and usability.
Set up and integrate Google Analytics with client websites.
Create and implement sitemap.xml and robots.txt files and upload them to the website’s server.
Make website updates and content changes using Wix/Wix Studio and other website builders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience making website updates and implementing technical changes.
Understanding of SEO fundamentals, including redirects, page structure, metadata, and image optimization.
Experience working with Wix/Wix Studio or other Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
Intermediate understanding of HTML and CSS, with the ability to make website updates while maintaining existing styling and layout.
Comfortable navigating website directories and working with tools such as cPanel or FTP clients.
Ability to troubleshoot basic website issues and follow technical instructions with a high level of accuracy.
Ability to stay focused, work efficiently, and complete tasks independently.
Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Experience implementing 301 redirects through server configuration files such as .htaccess or web.config.
Experience optimizing website performance, including browser caching, file compression, and image optimization.
Experience working with website servers, hosting platforms, or FTP.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
Fluent in English (C1/C2 level proficiency) with strong writing and grammar skills.
Exceptional online communication skills.
Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and effectively.
Quick learner who is adaptable and flexible.
High level of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.

This is a contract position, so you will not be eligible for benefits.
Payments are made monthly.
Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week between 8am and 5pm Mountain Standard Time.
Contractors provide their own laptop or computer.
Contractors provide their own secure and reliable internet connection.
Contractors provide Zoom, Gmail, Google Chrome, and Talkdesk installed on their equipment.
