About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build, deploy, monitor, and maintain AWS infrastructure
- Ensure current infrastructure is functional and available
- Improve infrastructure using current technology and implementation strategies
- Provide customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management
- Turn network metrics into information and explain their meaning
- Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network
- Share expertise through leadership and mentoring
- Help the team develop new methodologies
- Identify opportunities to modernize the network
- Resolve daily challenges to improve warfighter communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience with deployment or management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
- 5+ years of experience with system administration of Windows or Linux Operating Systems
- Experience supporting the migration, architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platforms
- Knowledge of foundational system administration principles
- Ability to design cloud environments
- Ability to collaborate with RMF teams to flush out security controls and initiate or maintain cloud services
- Top Secret clearance is required
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher Certification
- Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes
- AWS or Azure Certification
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
