About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Apply cyberspace operations experience to create solutions executed on a worldwide stage
- Monitor and analyze emerging threats
- Conduct incident response and risk assessments
- Evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of cybersecurity mitigations
- Research and analyze adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Assess and inform operators, senior leadership, and commanders
- Analyze cybersecurity events and identify threats, vulnerabilities, IOCs, and potential security incidents
- Support incident investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery activities
- Document findings, risks, mitigation recommendations, and cybersecurity status for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support RMF, NIST 800-53, and continuous monitoring across multi-site cyber operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience performing cybersecurity analysis for Federal or DoW systems
- 5+ years of experience conducting incident response, security event and log analysis, threat detection, vulnerability analysis, or cybersecurity assessments
- Experience supporting RMF, NIST 800-53, and continuous monitoring across multi-site cyber operations
- Experience analyzing cybersecurity events and identifying threats, vulnerabilities, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and potential security incidents
- Experience with enterprise cybersecurity tools for security monitoring, log analysis, vulnerability management, endpoint security, or threat detection
- Experience supporting incident investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery activities
- Experience documenting findings, risk, mitigation recommendations, and cybersecurity status for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Secret clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology
- Security+ certification
- CompTIA CySA+, CISSP, SecurityX or CASP+, GIAC, or other DoW 8140 Cybersecurity Certifications are nice to have
