About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify sources and collect data
Analyze and extract key data and information
Evaluate and monitor data quality to meet client organization's needs
Develop visualizations for briefings to senior-most department leaders
Research, develop, and test data methodologies
Generate cross-functional solutions through collection, analysis, and visualization of multiple data sets
Apply data cleansing skills and data analytics experience to simplify technical requirements and trends based on the audience
Assist with data validation and cleaning to ensure data quality and integrity
Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators
Produce data visualizations using Tableau, Qlik, and Power BI
Document processes used to produce visualizations
Participate in program meetings
Collaborate with stakeholders
Develop documents and briefs
Present results and communicate with Joint Force leaders at the GS-15 and O-6 level and above

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience implementing good data principles, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis to identify insights and trends
Experience leveraging R or Python for data transformations
Experience using Palantir Foundry or Maven Smart Systems to construct pipelines, ontologies, or workshops
Experience using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power Apps, Power Automate, or SharePoint
Experience communicating data insights in both written and verbal forms
Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines at the same time
TS/SCI clearance is required
HS diploma or GED
Experience collecting requirements and implementing processes or product improvements
Experience identifying Artificial Intelligence (AI) use cases and training non-technical user on AI
Knowledge of quantitative data modeling techniques and widely used modeling tools
