About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools
Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data
Apply analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis
Analyze and process data
Contribute to developing models and report templates
Develop dynamic, data-driven solutions using databases, Python, R, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Office
Recommend and implement performance measures, including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics
Provide guidance to fellow team members
Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting findings for decision making
Develop solutions supporting Navy missions and digital services

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ years of experience in DoD or DON Data Science, including advanced analytics or data mining
Experience with data visualization
Experience leading discussions about data products, sources, and projects with executive leadership
Ability to create compelling visual representations of data
Ability to be organized, multi-task, and respond quickly to urgent requests
Secret clearance required
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with data analysis or data visualization with Power BI, Excel, or Tableau preferred
Experience in operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis in a DoD/DON setting
Excellent communication skills
