Build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects
Develop and deploy data pipelines and platforms that organize disparate data
Support clients in finding meaningful insights from structured and unstructured data
Assess, design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms
Work with analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced agile environment
Perform analytical exploration and data examination
Develop scripts and programs to convert various data types into usable formats
Support project teams in scaling, monitoring, and operating data platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of experience utilizing programming languages, including Python
Experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores for business analysis
Experience developing scalable data pipelines or ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics
Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats
Ability to support project teams to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
Secret clearance required
Bachelor’s degree
Nice to have: experience with PaaS and SaaS analytics workloads, including AWS EMR, Redshift, SageMaker, Databricks, or machine learning services
Nice to have: experience retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
Nice to have: experience with Apache Spark or NVIDIA CUDA
Nice to have: experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
Nice to have: experience presenting complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences and senior leaders
Nice to have: experience developing and deploying large-scale batch and stream analytics pipelines
Nice to have: experience with integrated groups of customer success managers, infrastructure engineers, data scientists, and software engineers
Nice to have: Master’s degree in a relevant field
Nice to have: Cloud Development Certification such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Certification
Nice to have: Information Security Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification
