About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of data scientists, data engineers, and product owners from planning and design through testing and deployment
Balance technical guidance with project management
Ensure software products are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
Establish development standards and best practices
Maintain code quality and system architecture
Act as the key link between the development team and upper management
Support clients’ national security missions
Participate in identity verification during the hiring process
Be on camera during interviews and assessments
Do not use AI tools during interviews unless explicitly permitted

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience with data governance
2+ years of experience managing and leading teams
Experience with Agile methodologies and sprint planning tools
Experience with data analytics and presenting findings to leadership
Top Secret clearance required
HS diploma or GED
Ability to lead and mentor across varied technical teams
Ability to manage resource allocation, team workload, and project prioritization
Ability to stay up to date with software development and data management technologies and methodologies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Excellent project management skills
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred
Master’s degree in a STEM field a plus
PMP, AWS, ITIL, or CSM Certification
Security+ CE Certification
