About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Unlock secrets held by data sets and turn complex structured and unstructured data into useful information
  • Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs
  • Analyze data-rich environments to identify meaningful information
  • Guide teammates and lead development of algorithms and systems
  • Select tools and frameworks to turn disparate data points into objective answers
  • Provide clients with insights to support informed decisions
  • Use data science to address challenges across private and public sectors, including fraud detection, cancer research, and national intelligence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience using data science programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, cleaning and conditioning data, and creating schemas for data storage
  • Experience with version control tools, including git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods
  • Ability to design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms
  • Ability to develop solutions and integrate and extend free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products
  • Ability to generate data visualizations with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS
  • TS/SCI clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in data science, or 7+ years of experience in data science in lieu of a degree
  • Experience working with GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT and associated data and tools
  • Experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or Intelligence Community
  • Knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
