About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of products from concept throughout the product lifecycle
  • Support critical and complex ground systems for Space Sensing
  • Define TRDs, ICDs, and IDDs using digital engineering best practices
  • Apply technical expertise and industry knowledge
  • Independently develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Perform systems engineering analysis and develop systems engineering products
  • Support systems engineering and program management functions for design reviews and requirements verification
  • Collaborate with government clients and integrated product teams in a multi-vendor environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience with large-scale DoD systems acquisition missions and systems engineering and integration
  • 5+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems
  • 3+ years of experience with practical MBSE for technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture
  • Experience with digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw
  • Knowledge of Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions supporting design reviews and requirements verification
  • Ability to establish collaborative relationships with government clients or integrated product teams in a multi-vendor environment
  • Secret clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
  • Nice to have: 5+ years of experience with satellite systems or ground systems for Command and Control and Data Processing
  • Nice to have: experience with space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Generation OPIR, FORGE, STSS, HBTSS, DMSP, WSF-M, and EWS
  • Nice to have: experience with software interfaces for ground systems and architecting software deployment
  • Nice to have: experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter
  • Nice to have: experience with Model-Based Verification and Validation and translating system requirements into design
  • Nice to have: ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues; develop technical reports; and collaborate with government and other stakeholders
  • Nice to have: TS/SCI clearance
  • Nice to have: Master's degree in Engineering
  • Nice to have: OMG Certified Systems Model Professional (OCSMP) Certification
  • Nice to have: INCOSE SE Certification
