About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate operational needs into actionable plans
- Keep complex programs on track from concept through completion
- Organize and maintain requirements and program artifacts guiding system design and acquisition
- Track schedules and monitor financial execution
- Identify risks
- Prepare briefings for senior Navy stakeholders
- Support the Assistant Program Manager for future variants of an Unmanned Surface Vessel program
- Support RFP development
- Report progress and align resources
- Help ensure disciplined execution across the team
- Collaborate with government engineers, technical leads, and systems architects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience with Department of Defense or Federal Program and Project Management
- 3+ years of experience in writing RFPs, contract modifications, and CPARs
- 2+ years of experience in financial management and PPBE
- Secret clearance required
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience across the hardware lifecycle, including design, integration, testing, and sustainment
- Experience with DON, NAVSEA, NAVWAR, and C4I
- Bachelor's degree is nice to have
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
