About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement automation solutions
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and management of infrastructure and applications
- Strengthen DevSecOps skills while supporting the sustainment and development of critical naval platforms
- Automate system configurations and orchestrate network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in cloud environments
- Leverage JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Analyze business requirements to design automated process workflows
- Participate in identity verification during the hiring process
- Follow the candidate AI usage policy during interviews and assessments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including Bash, Python, JavaScript, Jinja2, or PowerShell
- 2+ years of experience with automation tools, including Ansible
- Experience automating network appliances such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or BigIP
- Experience with CI/CD toolsets, including GitLab or Jenkins
- Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments, including automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as CI/CD
- Secret clearance required
- HS diploma or GED
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Ability to work primarily full-time at a customer facility if the position is listed as onsite
