About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage system infrastructure and applications
- Develop and implement automation solutions
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support smooth deployment and management of infrastructure and applications
- Strengthen DevSecOps skills while supporting the sustainment and development of critical naval platforms
- Automate system configurations and orchestrate network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in cloud environments
- Design automated process workflows based on business requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages to automate tasks, including Bash, Python, JavaScript, Jinja2, or PowerShell
- 2+ years of experience with automation tools, including Ansible
- Experience automating network appliances such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or BigIP
- Experience with CI/CD toolsets, including GitLab or Jenkins
- Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments, including automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, monitoring, and CI/CD
- Secret clearance is required
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments
- Experience leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Knowledge of automation and process improvement through holistic programming solutions
- Ability to analyze business requirements for the design of automated process workflows
