About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work directly with clients to ensure tasks are managed effectively
  • Collect, understand, and define clients' IT requirements
  • Analyze and translate requirements into project plans and milestones
  • Create realistic resource-loaded schedules to manage and report progress
  • Write and deliver executive leadership-level communications and briefings
  • Support program success through careful analysis and effective communication
  • Develop and maintain program strategy
  • Support digital platform transformation initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience supporting, planning, scheduling, coordinating, or delivering IT projects
  • 5+ years of experience with DoD IT project management
  • Experience with Agile methodologies or software project management tools, including ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of program management practices in a DoD setting
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams, independently, with minimal direction
  • Ability to identify and document risks and conflicts across workstreams
  • Secret clearance is required
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in an Enterprise IT environment (nice to have)
  • Experience supporting the Navy (nice to have)
  • Experience supporting senior military or government officials (nice to have)
  • ITIL Foundations Certification (nice to have)
