About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead agile systems engineering and integration efforts for national security space systems
- Champion Agile principles across the program
- Facilitate Scrum events
- Coach team members
- Ensure clarity in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery activities
- Work with Product Owners and technical leads to translate mission needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs
- Identify impediments and remove blockers
- Align development activities with stakeholder expectations
- Contribute to cloud technology adoption and resilient ground system infrastructure for space domain awareness
- Support national security space and Intelligence Community programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles
- Knowledge of Scrum roles, events, artifacts, and empirical process control
- Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne
- Knowledge of software development or systems engineering processes used on DoD or IC programs
- Ability to run standups, retrospectives, reviews, and remove impediments
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or 4+ years of experience with Agile development in lieu of a degree
- Experience with coaching and maturing Agile practices
- Knowledge of the Intelligence Community
- Ability to collaborate with Product Owners and engineering leads
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Scrum Master Certification, including CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Scrum Master Certification
