Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in server administration, Linux administration, or infrastructure operations
Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers
Experience provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting virtual machines
Experience with OS patching, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of Linux commands, file systems, permissions, processes, services, and system logs
Knowledge of TCP and IP networking, DNS, SSH, routing, and firewall fundamentals
Knowledge of security best practices and vulnerability remediation
Secret clearance required
HS diploma or GED
Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, or Red Hat Virtualization
Experience with Ansible or other configuration management and automation tools
Experience with SAN and NAS storage, shared storage, and virtual machine backup solutions
Experience with ITIL processes and enterprise change management
Knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools and centralized logging solutions
Knowledge of high availability, clustering, disaster recovery, and business continuity
RHCSA or RHCE certification
