About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join a team of procurement professionals managing a portfolio of subcontract agreements and direct procurement requirements
- Balance multiple priorities to help clients address current and emerging needs
- Collaborate with internal teams and facilitate information flow across the supply chain
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers
- Ensure sourcing requirements are met promptly and compliantly
- Assist in negotiating favorable terms across the contractual lifecycle
- Ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services
- Work with leaders to address issues during the contracting lifecycle
- Develop accurate demand forecasts with program managers, capture teams, and leaders
- Facilitate execution of non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, material or purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and amendments
- Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies
- Analyze the portfolio to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Incorporate data analytics and forecasting tools to anticipate customer demands and increase operational efficiency
- Manage procurement requirements and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues to ensure contractual compliance
- Use data analysis to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
- Break down ambiguous or complex problems using structured analysis frameworks
- Apply critical thinking and systematic reasoning to validate assumptions, identify risks, and develop defensible solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1+ years of experience working in a professional setting
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, or PowerPoint
- Ability to function independently as a self-starter
- Ability to collaborate with your team
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience working directly with suppliers and their sub-tiers with product delivery
- Experience with procurement software and tools such as ERP systems and e-procurement platforms
- Experience with contract management software and tools
- Knowledge of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR)
