About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in Bose’s Supply Chain Co-op Program from January 11 to June 25, 2027
- Support procurement of electrical and mechanical commodities, including sourcing, quotation evaluation, supplier meetings, supply-demand analysis, supplier risk assessment, and industry trend communication
- Analyze the semiconductor end-to-end supply chain, including component evaluation, supplier mapping, forecast generation, and delivery tracking
- Support new product BOM review, Country of Origin determination, and accessory part management
- Interface with product contract manufacturers and internal functional groups
- Support commodity managers with contract pricing and data analysis using Excel, Power BI, and supply management software
- Manage enhancements and maintenance of the corporate cost-reduction database
- Manage procurement and manufacturing KPI dashboards and reporting analytics
- Create and deliver departmental training modules and documentation
- Plan product supply, analyze demand forecasts, resolve supply gaps, communicate supply to sales, and escalate shipment-impacting issues
- Update automotive business forecasts in the Saphran forecasting system and generate reports
- Coordinate safety returns and field performance management initiatives for consumer products
- Build reporting and analysis for global product returns, repairs, and remanufacturing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Student pursuing a Business major with a Supply Chain concentration or Industrial Engineering major
- Independent worker with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work successfully in a collaborative environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft products
- Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required
- Ability to quickly learn technical systems
- Power BI experience preferred
- SAP and SharePoint experience is a plus
