About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead one or more product managers in the Operations tribe, setting priorities, coaching them, and owning assigned business vertical product results
- Collaborate with multiple squads, align roadmaps to shared operational objectives, and resolve overlaps and dependencies
- Work on the hub floor at least twice a week to observe operations and identify process or product slowdowns
- Travel to hubs outside Cairo & Giza, including the Delta and Upper Egypt, to understand and productize differing operational flows
- Optimize processes before building technology solutions
- Translate operational challenges into problem statements and product solutions
- Prioritize and balance work across multiple scopes while ensuring measurable impact
- Review PM discovery, solution design, and delivery quality; follow releases through hub adoption and measure operational metrics
- Align priorities and trade-offs with operations leadership, engineering, and design; report progress and results to the Head of Product, Operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of product experience
- Some years of product leadership experience, enough to lead and develop one or more product managers
- Able to commit to hub visits at least twice a week
- Open to traveling outside Cairo & Giza to the Delta and Upper Egypt hubs
- Knows how to optimize processes and does not treat a tech solution as the first answer
- Knows how to translate on-ground challenges into product solutions and communicate using on-ground teams' language
- Able to focus and create impact in multiple scopes at the same time, including working with more than one squad
- Experience in logistics or supply chain is preferred
