Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and deploy high-impact features for customers
Collaborate with Product Managers and UX/UI Designers to define and implement new features
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure best practices and continuous improvement
Participate in diagnosing and resolving complex production issues
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team
Design, build, and maintain scalable applications to enhance the capabilities of Botpress’s AI agent platform
Ensure high standards of code quality and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks such as React
Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and methodologies
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) is an asset
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders
Passion for exploring new technologies and eagerness to contribute to a rapidly evolving product
An enthusiastic team player who is results-oriented and motivated by Botpress’s overall success
