Key responsibilities & impact

Own meaningful product and technical initiatives from design and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration
Build reliable, maintainable systems for real-time scheduling, client booking, marketing automation, and professional business tools
Partner with Product and Design to understand customer problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and develop technical solutions
Contribute to technical design and architecture while balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and delivery speed
Build across the platform using frontend, backend, or end-to-end expertise
Own software quality through testing, code review, observability, and ongoing production support
Collaborate with and mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing
Improve software development and delivery, including thoughtful use of AI-assisted development tools

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production applications
Strong software engineering fundamentals
Ability to design clean, maintainable solutions to complex problems
Track record of independently taking meaningful features or technical initiatives from definition through production
Experience partnering closely with Product and Design to understand customer needs and develop effective technical solutions
Ability to recognize reusable patterns and solve classes of problems
Ability to evaluate tradeoffs, make sound engineering decisions, and communicate the reasoning behind them
History of effective collaboration with engineers and cross-functional partners
Experience contributing to the growth of other engineers
Eagerness to learn unfamiliar technologies and solve new problems
Prior Elixir experience is not required
Experience with all listed technologies is not required
