About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build Boulevard’s product data foundation by defining data capture requirements, designing data models, and developing a scalable analytics technology stack with data engineering
  • Develop data-driven recommendations with Product through narratives, data storytelling, and audience-appropriate visualizations
  • Build scalable self-serve dashboards and enable stakeholders to independently explore and interpret data
  • Operationalize product analytics and connect it to OKRs and business outcomes
  • Own exploratory and deep-dive analyses of customer and product behavior, including funnels, retention, cohorts, and feature adoption
  • Bridge product data and the broader organization to influence cross-functional decisions and outcomes
  • Create scalable team processes and analytical workflows that ensure data accuracy
  • Own Product Development experimentation, including test design, analysis, impact readouts, experimentation standards, templates, and tooling workflows
  • Design quasi-experimental analyses when clean A/B tests are not possible
  • Apply statistical and machine learning methods to model customer behavior, adoption, retention, churn, segmentation, activation, and causal drivers
  • Productionize models with data engineering, including scheduling, monitoring, versioning, drift management, retraining, and retirement
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, data engineering, and executive stakeholders to shape product strategy and roadmap investment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of proven experience in data science, product analytics, or engineering in a B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environment
  • Meaningful experience in early-stage or low-data-maturity environments
  • Fluency with SQL, Python/Jupyter notebooks, Snowflake, DBT, Sigma, and AWS infrastructure
  • Strong proficiency with data modeling
  • Experience designing and executing product instrumentation strategies, including event schemas and tracking plans
  • Expertise building dashboards and visualizations with Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Significant experience working directly with product managers and leaders
  • Experience with funnel diagnostics, cohort and retention modeling, and behavioral segmentation
  • Deep statistical and machine learning expertise, including regression, classification, propensity and churn-risk modeling, clustering, survival and time-to-value analysis
  • Proven end-to-end experimentation experience, including hypothesis, metrics, randomization, power, duration, and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with Statsig, Optimizely, or similar experimentation platforms
  • Causal-inference experience when clean A/B testing is not possible
  • Ability to build and own production-grade DBT data pipelines, transformations, orchestration, tests, documentation, and version control
  • Clear, confident communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage projects end-to-end, identify opportunities, navigate ambiguity, and build scalable processes
  • Proven cross-functional partnership and ability to influence leadership decisions using product data
  • Experience with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar product analytics tools preferred
