About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare legal documents and correspondence
- File documents in state and federal courts
- Prepare binders for attorneys and judges
- Create and save documents and emails to iManage in accordance with firm policy
- Obtain documents from online court directories
- Schedule meetings and other calendar commitments
- Calendar legal due dates in CompuLaw
- Make travel arrangements and process expense reports
- Process client disbursements
- Organize and maintain case files
- Support case teams at a national product liability trial law firm defending manufacturers in high-exposure lawsuits and mass torts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional computer skills
- Ability to work overtime when the need arises
- Heavy computer use
- 4–8 years of legal experience required
- Civil litigation experience required
- Knowledge of the Florida court system required
- Demonstrated employment stability
