Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of two years of post-secondary education for Iowa requirements
  • At least two years of experience working with children and families
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call hours may be required
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Ability to perform in stressful physical, mental, and emotional situations
  • Ability to visit homes with substandard living conditions and domestic pets
