About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategic planning cycle, from context assessment through the definition of strategic directions, priorities, targets, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Structure and facilitate strategic planning sessions with internal stakeholders.
- Monitor the external environment and the healthcare sector, translating trends into scenarios, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
- Identify and support opportunities for new business models, services, and growth drivers.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis of the healthcare sector, supported by strategic analysis and intelligence.
- Structure feasibility studies and demand projections to support decisions on expansion, new services, care pathways, and investments.
- Guide the translation of strategy into KPIs and OKRs.
- Lead the Strategic Analysis and Intelligence function, transforming data into actionable insights.
- Prepare and update the Strategic Planning book and executive materials for the Executive Board and Board of Directors.
- Support communication and engagement initiatives related to strategy.
- Support institutional decision-making through quantitative and qualitative analyses, modeling, projections, KPIs, scenarios, benchmarking, and comparative studies.
- Support sustainability and institutional responsibility activities.
- Participate in drills and environmental emergency response plans, when applicable.
- Use environmental operational control procedures, including the management of waste, effluents, emissions, and natural resources.
- Map environmental aspects and impacts and applicable legal requirements, supporting environmental improvement initiatives.
- Align strategic assumptions and budget implications with Finance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Graduate degree required.
- Specialization or training in strategic planning, foresight, OKRs and performance management, and the healthcare market.
- Technical English proficiency.
- Experience in strategy, including leading complete planning cycles in large organizations.
- Team management experience.
- Knowledge of the healthcare sector preferred.
