Shape BPM’s future technology direction by driving innovation, modernizing systems and operations, and aligning technology with the firm’s strategic vision and growth
Partner with firm leadership to develop and execute a forward-thinking IT strategy
Lead transformative initiatives and build a secure, scalable technology environment
Enhance the colleague experience and empower client-facing professionals through innovative technology solutions
Serve as an internal change agent driving business process enhancements and innovation
Provide executive business leadership to a customer-oriented IT team
Share knowledge, best practices, and technological advancements with senior management and IT stakeholders
Collaborate with firm leaders and establish goals aligning business strategy with firm technology
Set and communicate strategies for IT infrastructure, cloud computing, security, disaster recovery, and software capabilities
Lead supervisors managing vendors, consultants, infrastructure, security, and internal client support
Oversee and develop the overall IT budget
Monitor federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements for IT infrastructure in public accounting
Analyze firm-wide and departmental business needs and prioritize technology modifications, enhancements, or alternatives
Develop community engagement initiatives and encourage employee participation in volunteer programs and outreach
Lead environmental impact reduction initiatives involving energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible resource use
Promote solutions supporting sustainability, equity, and positive social outcomes
Lead initiatives positioning BPM as an ESG performance leader

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with direct experience leading through business growth
Ability to intersect business needs with creative IT solutions
Public Accounting or “Middle Market” professional services experience
Experience working within a matrixed organization
Proven success as a change agent and leader introducing new technologies and processes
Track record of creating phenomenal employee experiences
Experience providing leadership while participating in technical components required to execute a strategic plan
Experience implementing transformative IT solutions
Experience migrating an organization to cloud-based infrastructure
Experience leading change management for adoption of new platforms
Ability to communicate and work effectively with all organizational levels
Experience working within professional service organizations' cultures and processes
Strong written and oral communication skills
