About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, maintain, monitor and improve IT services, including SaaS and on-premise systems
- Operate Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Google Workspace and open-source tools on Debian servers monitored by Zabbix
- Maintain server hardware and virtualization environments
- Administer networks, including office Wi-Fi
- Manage internal IT assets and provide user support
- Handle incident and problem management
- Work on routine and unique infrastructure tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Communicative English and Czech
- Good knowledge of Linux administration, preferably Debian or Ubuntu
- General understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP and firewalls
- Experience with virtualization
- Basic understanding of physical server hardware and storage
- Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically and independently
- Some scripting or automation experience — Bash and/or Python is perfectly fine
- Experience operating and maintaining production services
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems and processes
- Willingness to learn technologies you have not worked with before
- Candidates located in Prague, Czech Republic area
- Interest in cryptocurrencies or active experience with them is an advantage
- Interest in new technologies and development procedures is an advantage
