About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn how work is performed across departments by meeting leaders, observing employees, and mapping workflows, delays, and costs
- Maintain and prioritize a company-wide opportunity list with the BizX Team Lead
- Define desired workflow changes, measurable outcomes, and baselines with departments
- Rapidly prototype solutions and test them with real users
- Write requirements covering workflows, data, systems, agent permissions, human review, and failure handling
- Collaborate with engineers during development, including pairing, code review, and agentic coding
- Test agents against real cases, establish accuracy standards, and monitor performance after launch
- Transition tools to department owners with documentation and maintenance plans
- Measure and report hours saved, costs avoided, revenue gained, adoption, and agent accuracy to the executive team
- Promote effective AI use across Brandt through guidelines and departmental adoption support
- Decide which opportunities to prioritize as a senior leader on the BizX team, reporting to the BizX Team Lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
- Experience working closely with non-technical teams to understand their workflows and identify overlooked problems
- Ability to interview department heads and observe frontline employees, translating findings into specific problem statements
- Experience redesigning workflows and demonstrating what changed
- Experience building AI agents, automations, or internal tools relied upon by others
- Ability to evaluate AI output using test cases, evaluations, or human review
- Comfortable writing scripts, calling APIs, querying data with SQL, reading pull requests, and using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Experience measuring changes against a baseline and reporting results, including shortcomings
- Experience prioritizing competing requests from senior leaders while maintaining trust
- Ability to explain how views on AI in business workflows have evolved
- Knowledge of limiting agent access and capabilities and keeping a person in the loop for costly mistakes
- Clear written communication
- Nice to have: business systems, operations, or internal tools experience
- Nice to have: business analysis, consulting, or process improvement experience
- Nice to have: experience with LLM APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, n8n, Power Automate, or Zapier
- Nice to have: teaching others to use AI tools; experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure DevOps
- No specific industry background, years of experience, or degree required
