About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and evolve architectures for complex, distributed systems.
- Drive integration across applications, platforms, services, and infrastructure.
- Translate business requirements into technical and architectural solutions.
- Define development standards, best practices, and engineering principles.
- Assess the technical impact of changes, new features, and releases.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues, ensuring system stability and operational continuity.
- Ensure application requirements for performance, scalability, availability, resilience, and security are met.
- Support development, infrastructure, operations, and architecture teams in making technical decisions.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical design reviews for solutions.
- Participate in the evaluation of new technologies, products, and vendors.
- Document architectures, integrations, flows, and relevant technical decisions.
- Ensure adherence to corporate standards, security policies, governance, and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with DevOps and SRE teams to promote automation, observability, and system reliability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Software Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related areas.
- Experience with monolithic systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience integrating systems using APIs, messaging, and queues.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of networks, protocols, and inter-system communication.
- Experience with Linux and/or Unix.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of information security applied to systems development.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Git and code version control.
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Java and/or React development.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and digital product development.
- Cloud Computing certifications are a plus.
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD) are a plus.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is a plus.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
- Experience in highly complex corporate environments and technology transformation is a plus.
