About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the technical point of reference for the development team
  • Lead architecture discussions and the definition of technology solutions
  • Support product evolution, ensuring quality, scalability, and security

  • Conduct code reviews and mentor developers in their technical growth

  • Participate in defining and evolving architecture and engineering standards

  • Work in partnership with Product, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams
  • Contribute to a collaborative, innovative, and continuous improvement culture
  • Provide technical leadership for projects and professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field
  • Solid experience in software development and related areas
  • Knowledge of systems architecture, including monoliths, microservices, and event-driven architecture
  • Knowledge of systems integration, including REST/GraphQL APIs, messaging, and queues
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of containers and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of observability, including logs, metrics, and tracing
  • Knowledge of information security, including IAM, encryption, and secure networks
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with high availability, fault tolerance, and Disaster Recovery (DR) is desirable
  • Experience with code version control (Git) is desirable
  • Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) is desirable
  • Knowledge of IT governance and corporate standards is desirable
  • Cloud and Kubernetes certifications, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, or CKAD, are considered a plus
