About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Personally identify, pursue, and close net-new enterprise relationships
- Engage CMOs, marketing directors, and heads of learning and development at large organisations
- Sell MiniMBA’s core programmes and new 2027 course electives
- Build a healthy mix of business across core programmes and course electives
- Apply rigorous sales practices to every deal
- Build a well-qualified pipeline able to withstand scrutiny across an enterprise-length sales cycle
- Work with the Commercial Director to shape a repeatable enterprise new-business motion
- Represent MiniMBA at events and in meetings with major brands
- Serve as the Commercial Director’s right hand
- Work as an individual contributor initially, with a route to building and leading a sales team after proving performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Track record selling courses, training, or a comparable product into marketing functions
- Comfortable engaging CMOs and heads of learning and development
- Genuine, verified network among senior marketing budget holders who could buy business education at this level
- Consistent quota attainment over a sustained period
- Clear account of handling a ramp period
- Disciplined pipeline management across a long sales cycle
- Commercially driven hunter comfortable attending events and meeting major brands
- Experience closing deals in the £500,000 to £1 million range, with sales cycles of eight to nine months (nice to have)
- Background at a company with a similar customer profile, selling to senior marketing or L&D audiences (nice to have)
- Genuine point of view on marketing and collaborative style (nice to have)
- Ambition to grow into a Head of Sales role within a couple of years (nice to have)
