About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run projects end to end, including scoping, proposal writing, costing, planning, delivery and final presentation
Manage project resourcing, timelines and budgets
Lead B2B research and interview programmes with senior technical audiences
Design analytical frameworks and turn qualitative and quantitative findings into commercially useful insight
Design and deliver client briefings, reports, workshops and presentations
Act as day-to-day lead for senior clients and build trusted, long-term relationships
Bring new research ideas to clients and help grow accounts
Contribute to proposals and new business initiatives
Lead project teams and line manage and develop consultants and analysts
Share knowledge of developer technology and AI across the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Consulting experience; most successful candidates will have around five or more years in consulting, research or insights
Experience working on major technology accounts, with exposure to developers, software development or enterprise tech
Strong B2B research skills, ideally including interviews with senior technical audiences
Track record of managing projects end to end, including proposals, costings and junior team members
Experience building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and adapting as priorities change
Strong baseline knowledge across media-tech, including hardware, cloud, software development and AI/ML
Knowledge of APIs and IDEs
Excellent communication skills and ability to make and support a clear argument
Strong academic record, typically a 2:1 or above
Ideally, direct experience researching developers or developer tools, and AI adoption in software, SaaS or tech
Ideally, a computer science or technical degree, hands-on coding experience, or line management experience
