About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program
Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan
Partner with commercial health plans and serve Medicaid and Medicare patients
Conduct approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
Diagnose or support treatment of mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Create treatment plans
Perform comprehensive assessments
Work in partnership with clients to achieve their goals
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
Fluency in English
Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning
Comfortable utilizing telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
Currently fully/independently licensed in at least one state
LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LPCC, LCPC, LPC, LISW, or other applicable credential
Experience with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
Ability and willingness to complete 30 client care hours per week
