About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care
Provide care to patients across the lifespan
Provide services to patients covered by commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare
Diagnose and assess mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Develop treatment plans
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Partner with clients to achieve their goals
Conduct comprehensive assessments
See approximately six clients per day, totaling 30 client care hours per week
Work with patients with chronic severe mental illness, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
Obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets when required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Work-from-home space with privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
Fluency in English
Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning
Comfortable utilizing telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required for expansion
Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week
