About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient therapy services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Provide mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
- Use technology, telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools throughout the day
- Diagnose and assess mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Develop treatment plans
- Partner with clients to achieve their goals
- Complete comprehensive assessments
- Complete approximately 30 client-care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
- Provide care for patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
- Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Unable to support temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses
- Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
- Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
- Current independent clinical licensure/credential (including LCSW or equivalent listed credentials)
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required
