About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide full-time outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
  • Provide mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
  • Partner with commercial health plans and serve Medicaid and Medicare patients
  • Use mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses to inform care
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Use comprehensive assessments
  • Partner with clients to achieve their goals
  • Deliver care using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Obtain additional state licenses to support Brave Health's expansion into new markets when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
  • Fluency in English; Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to use comprehensive assessments
  • Must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as required
  • Comfortable completing 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
