About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
  • Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
  • Use technology, including telehealth software and video communication, throughout the workday
  • Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Provide care to patients with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses
  • Complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
  • Support access to care as Brave Health expands into new markets
  • Obtain additional state licenses when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA compliance
  • Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning skills
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Currently fully/independently licensed in at least one state
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
  • Comfortable completing 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
  • Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
