About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan
  • Partner with commercial health plans and provide care as a licensed Medicaid and Medicare provider
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Develop treatment plans
  • Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
  • Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
  • Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools throughout the day
  • Support Brave Health's expansion by obtaining additional state licenses when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • Current, unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Private work-from-home space meeting patient safety and HIPAA requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required for company expansion
  • Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week
  • Experience working with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
  • Independent clinical licensure, including LISW or an equivalent listed credential
