About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
  • Provide care for patients with mental health, substance abuse, addiction, and chronic severe mental illness diagnoses
  • Participate in the application process questionnaire and recruiter discussions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Private work-from-home space suitable for patient safety and HIPAA requirements
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
  • Must be available for a full-time Monday–Friday schedule
  • Must be comfortable completing 30 client care hours per week, averaging 6 clients per day
  • Experience with patients diagnosed with substance abuse and addiction disorders
  • Experience with patients with chronic severe mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
  • Full-time one-on-one psychotherapy experience, defined as 20 or more client-facing hours per week
