About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outpatient services through Brave Health’s telehealth program
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan
  • Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
  • Create treatment plans
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Partner with clients to achieve their goals
  • Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools throughout the day
  • Complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
  • Support Brave Health’s expansion into new markets by obtaining additional state licenses when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • LMHC and LMFT candidates must have Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D)
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Work-from-home space must provide privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
  • Fluency in English; Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning skills
  • Comfort using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
  • Must be willing to complete 30 client care hours per week
  • Experience with patients with chronic severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
  • Must be willing to obtain additional state licenses as requested
