About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
  • Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
  • Partner with commercial health plans and serve Medicaid and Medicare patients
  • Complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
  • Use comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and address mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses
  • Work with clients to achieve their goals using telehealth technology
  • Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's level degree and licensure
  • LMHC and LMFT candidates must have Diagnostic Privileges (LMHC-D / LMFT-D)
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Home workspace must provide privacy for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
  • Fluency in English; Spanish preferred
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
  • Treatment planning skills
  • Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
  • Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
  • Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required
