About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide full-time outpatient therapy services through Brave Health's telehealth program
Deliver mental health treatment remotely to patients across the lifespan, including adolescents ages 13–17
Diagnose and address mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Develop treatment plans
Conduct comprehensive assessments
Partner with clients to achieve treatment goals
Provide approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically seeing 6–8 patients per day
Complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Work a fixed Monday–Friday schedule during assigned Eastern Time shifts
Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or comparable independent clinical license/credential
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
Private work-from-home space suitable for patient safety and HIPAA requirements
Fluency in English
Spanish fluency preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning experience
Comfort using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
Ability to use comprehensive assessments
Ability to commit to a fixed Monday–Friday schedule
Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
One-on-one psychotherapy experience within the last 12 months
Approximately 30 patient-facing hours per week, typically seeing 6–8 patients per day
Ability to complete clinical documentation concurrently during patient sessions
Comfort providing therapy to adolescents ages 13–17
Ongoing independent licensure; year of independent licensure required in the application
