About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide outpatient services through Brave Health's telehealth program
Deliver mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
Partner with commercial health plans and provide care as a licensed Medicaid and Medicare provider
Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
Develop treatment plans
Use comprehensive assessments
Work in partnership with clients to achieve goals
Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Complete 30 client care hours per week, averaging six clients per day
Work with patients who may have chronic severe mental illness, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
Obtain additional state licenses as needed to support expansion into new markets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's level degree and licensure
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
Unable to support employment authorization tied to temporary or employer-dependent visa statuses
Private work-from-home space for patient safety and HIPAA purposes
Fluency in English
Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
Treatment planning
Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
Experience working in partnership with clients to achieve goals
Ability to utilize comprehensive assessments
Current full/independent licensure in the relevant state(s)
