About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outpatient mental health services through Brave Health's telehealth program
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality mental health care to patients across the lifespan
- Provide care to patients through commercial health plans, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Diagnose mental health and/or substance abuse conditions
- Develop treatment plans
- Conduct comprehensive assessments
- Partner with clients to help achieve their goals
- Use telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Complete approximately 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients per day
- Work Monday through Friday on a set shift: 9am–6pm, 10am–7pm, or 11am–8pm Eastern
- Potentially obtain additional state licenses as Brave Health expands into new markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's level degree and licensure
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Private work-from-home space suitable for patient safety and HIPAA requirements
- Fluency in English
- Spanish preferred; proficiency in other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis
- Treatment planning skills
- Comfortable using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools
- Experience partnering with clients to achieve goals
- Ability to use comprehensive assessments
- Current full/independent clinical licensure, including LMHC, LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LISW, LCPC, or LPCC credentials
- Ability to complete 30 client care hours per week
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required
